After Cinder's dissolution, my boyfriend automatically started 2 new projects.
His first project was Decline(they changed their name to Col·lapse and changed their english lyrics to Catalan), a more melodic and elaborated band, influenced by the last Minor Threat's period, Dag Nasty, Fugazi and so on.
On the other side we have another project, the few, rough sound influenced by the cro-mags, judge, youth of today...
They played their first show last saturday. The show was a blast, seems like people loved it and the crowd moved from side to side of the venue almost the whole time.
I like to see hardcore rising again in Barcelona, there are tons of new bands emerging and we've got shows almost every weekend again, the way it was back in the years. Col·lapse, The Few, The Roar, Power, Glam, Prevail, Amenaça, Absurdo, Glass Knife, Flesh and Below... what's next? let's make it last!!!!

Their first Demo is already recorded. I've been helping them with the vocals and lyrics for a long time, and i feel proud of the work we've done together.

I LOVE FRIDA KAHLO

I can't remember when my interest for Frida Kahlo's art & life strated, but lately, i've been more interested and i love everything that envolves her more than ever before. Even if her life does not have much in common with mine, sometimes i identify myself with her a lot. This has been reflected on my latest painting and the stuff i've been doing since a while ago. 3 months ago or so i started an oil on canvas wich is totally influenced by her painting "The two Fridas",

I'll finish it soon cause i'm on vacation and then i'll try to take a picture (my boyfriend's camera got broken so there's no way i can take a good picture right now). I also love everything related to mexican culture, i love all kinds of Catrinas and the day of the dead... Mexico is indeed a place i want to visit, hope i can make it soon! (maybe in a cpl of years or so...)

So this is water color on paper, Frida as a mexican skull.

This is water color on paper. Dedicated to my grandparents. The bird represents my grandfather, because he loves birds so much and is one of his passions in life, and the thread w/ the needle represents my grandma, cause she used to work as a seamstress. 

I love them so much and i will always do. Thanks to them for being such an important thing in my life and being always there when i need them and for making me happy day after day.

Sorry for the low quality, i took a picture with my cell phone's camera so it looks like crap.

This is a color pencil piece i did to my boyfriend a couple of weeks ago... he was really happy and he loved it. We decided to put it in a frame in the small table we have next to our bed... looks pretty cool! 

I apologize again for the bad quality, it sucks, i'll scan it someday i swear...

This is a tattoo desing for my friend Hector. The "Born to lose, live to win" phrase is missing in this picture. In this moment, the painting is pretty much advanced, the rose's got color and so half of the snake. Hope to finish it as soon as i can and upload it then, i'm sure it will be a thousand times better than this poor black line draft.
